A 10-day Brand sprint for rnbw
🌈 most people think a rainbow is just a half-circle. but guess what? it’s actually a full circle. surprising, right? from the ground, our view is limited to an arc. but if you see a rainbow from a plane or a high mountain, you’ll see it’s a complete circle. this happens because raindrops scatter light in all directions. it’s our ground perspective that limits what we see. design and development are two sides of the same coin, not separate worlds, and this what rainbow is here to show. when sprinting for rainbow we focused on three main concepts: simple, flexible, and open. simplicity: we want it to feel playful, like building blocks. it's easy to use and ready for ai with an api and command approach. for that, we also used a lot of white space, representing the empty canvas, and also it is endless in a way in terms of what you can do. flexibility: you can create anything. it’s a code editor, an endless canvas where the sky's the limit. openness: rainbow is open in many ways. we use rainbow colors sparingly but meaningfully. it connects with anything because it’s just files. simplicity is key.
